This page explains what SalonShield collects on this website, why, and how to have it removed. It covers this site only.
SalonShield, a supplier of textured protection film for car interiors. If you need our registered details for a formal request, ask through the enquiry form and we will send them.
The enquiry form asks for a shop name, a contact name, an email address or phone number, and a message. Only the contact name and the email or phone are required. What you type goes by email to our order desk and nowhere else. It is not stored in a database on this site and it is not sold, rented or shared with anyone.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and to see whether people reach the enquiry form. It is switched off until you press Accept on the cookie notice. Press Decline and no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser; the notice will appear again.
We do not run advertising, retargeting or third-party tracking of any kind. Advertising storage stays disabled even after you accept.
Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs — IP address, time, page requested, browser — as every web server does. We also keep a short-lived counter, keyed to a one-way hash of your IP address, that limits how many enquiries can be sent in an hour. It protects the form from bots; it cannot be turned back into an address.
Enquiry emails stay in our mailbox while we are in touch with you and for as long as we may need them for our records. Analytics data is kept by Google under the retention period set for our account. Server logs are rotated by the hosting provider.
You can decline analytics, ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the enquiry form and say what you want done. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
If this notice changes, the date below changes with it.
